A long-time web hobbyist, I’ve recently transferred my skills and experience into the commercial domain, combining my skills in site design with my talent for words.

I’m experienced with html, web design suites like Dreamweaver, Sharepoint Designer/Expression and cloud-based solutions like WordPress, Google Sites and Joomla with their integrated content management systems (CMS).

Plus, I can write like a demon – cramming your website with compelling copy that’s optimised for Google, Bing, Yahoo! and co.

Enlist my expertise and your website will leap off the screen and into your customers’ imaginations, soar up the search engine rankings and – most importantly – drive more business into your lap and cash into your pocket. If you’re looking to attract customers and still not on the web, have a word with yourself – it’s 2015!

All my websites are fully responsive too, designed to look equally as good (and equally as readable) on a tablet or smartphone as a PC or Mac.

And if you’re wondering – yep – I built this WordPress site with my own fair hand.

Check out some of my other work…

THE LONDON BUS EXPORT COMPANY

A successful local business needed to bring their web presence up to speed. I love design so freshening up the site from an aesthetic point of view was great fun, but the core work lay in chasing up previous clients to bag glowing eulogies while penning SEO-friendly web copy crammed with keywords that still read like a million bucks. Hey presto, a Google-friendly front to the business that drives thousands of page impressions each month.

BE-GLITZ HAIR & BEAUTY

A local beautician wanted something sparkly making to advertise her mobile business, and I got very excited at the thought of swapping my usual greys for some shocking pink and sexy blacks. The coolest element of this Google Sites-based effort was designing the striking animated logo, which certainly catches the eye.

BELLA COUNTRY WEDDINGS

As my client had already hired a web coder my input on this site had more of an editorial focus, as I wrote and subbed both on and offline text, advised on various best practice web strategies and helped set up a Facebook social media presence.

CHEPSTOW HARRIERS RUNNING CLUB

When my local running club needed help adding a lick of paint to their dated homepage, I heeded the call. The brief called for a CMS solution in which key club members could update the site after I’d finished building it (I plumped for Google Sites), allied to a ton of fresh copy, a solid archival system to store club records (Google Drive was perfect) and a lick of paint. The resulting site won me a local award… get in.
